Coming to the US in 1984, Peter gained his Master degree and Ph. D in Organic Chemistry. His extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry includes research scientist at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, and Hoffmann-La Roche. Peter also has many years of experience in doing pharmaceutical R&D, business development and management. Moreover, he has a strong entrepreneur leadership and extensive experience in doing business in China.

For many years, Peter has been serving the American Chinese communities in the US. He was presented the 5th Asian American Heritage Council Award and has been honored by many professional organizations for his outstanding achievements. Peter has strong connection with Chinese governments and Chinese enterprises.

  Professor Leung teaches at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. His special fields include: international relations, comparative politics, international business and history. Dr. Leung is our former ACPA President (1998-1999). He also served as President of the U.S.-China Foundation, the New Jersey Chinese Cultural Studies Foundation (NJCCSF), and the Livingston Chinese Association. Academically, Professor Leung has published over 15 books and numerous articles, and has served as Visiting Professor in many universities in the U.S. and overseas. In recognition of his accomplishments, he has been awarded Outstanding Professional Achievement Awards by the Asian American Heritage Council of New Jersey and the Bergen Community College.
